As the only winery in Hastings County, owner Sandor Johnson knew he had to create a spectacular destination for his visitors at Potter Settlement Artisan Winery. With help from the Regional Tourism Relief Fund, spectacular enhancements were made to the exterior arbour and the interior tasting room.
With the help of the RTRF, the project has increased the winery’s capability to handle tourist traffic - especially with the completion of washroom facilities. The beautification and enhancements made to the exterior, specifically the water features and the grape arbour, has provided a larger area to seat and accommodate visiting guests. The new grape presses now offers an immersive experience at harvest time for guests to enjoy - creating a farm-to-glass experience.
