Collaboration in the name of opportunity is at the heart of this Regional Tourism Relief Fund Project. Lead by the Lanark County Tourism Association and supported by the Upper Canada Snowmobile Region and its network of snowmobile districts and clubs developed the Rails & Trails Ontario East Loop. The 267km loop takes snowmobilers through rugged and scenic Lanark County, Renfrew County and Frontenac County. The trail was developed to include multiple stops through scenic small towns to experience shopping, food and drink, and other amenities. The project and the creation of the loop also facilitated the creation of the winter edition of the well-known Sip & Savour Trail.
