Ontario East Economic Development Commission (OEEDC) and OMAFRA have joined forces to offer you a dynamic strategic planning course to help you keep your rural community moving forwards in a way that will ensure your stakeholders will support your work. The 2-day course will be led by Amer & Associates and Tangible Words so you can learn best practices (and insider information) from practitioners with a plethora of real examples to share. Whether you need to review your existing plan or develop your first one, learn first- hand the process, skills and resources you'll need to deliver a strategic plan.

The course is intentionally offered in advance of next year's budget time, so you can enter the planning season knowing what your community needs and how best to use your resources. Leave with a sample strategic plan you can refer to repeatedly, and knowledge of how much data you need (and what questions to ask). You'll have time to work through your challenges during sessions and structured tasks to keep you motivated in between.
