We were thrilled to welcome delegates to the 2016 OH!Tourism Summit, an annual gathering of tourism operators, industry leaders and community partners across Ontario’s Highlands, who come together to network, share best practices and get re-acquainted after a busy summer tourism season.

With 2016’s  theme of “Small Towns – Big Stories: Using Content to Generate Visitor Engagement in Ontario’s Highlands,” we dove into how we can uncover the storyteller inside all of us to cut through advertising clutter, engage audiences, and inspire visitation. Through captivating keynote speakers and thought provoking workshops, delegates discovered how to navigate the path to develop content, share their stories, and engage visitors as we embark on a collective journey to invite people to Come Wander Ontario’s Highlands.

#OHSUM2016 took place October 24-25 in Perth, at Code’s Mill on the Park and the Best Western Plus Perth in partnership with Lanark County Tourism, Valley Heartland CFDC, and Lanark County Tourism Association. Visit www.ohtourismsummit.ca for a full conference summary.

SAVE THE DATE: #OHSUM2017 will take place October 23-24, 2017. Keep an eye on www.ohtourismsummit.ca for the announcement of the host community and additional details!
