I think everyone will agree that this winter has definitely been one for the record books! With the recent dumping of snow this past week, it would appear that winter has finally decided to make its presence known in Ontario’s Highlands. Ski hills are bustling, snowmobilers are out on the trails, fishermen are drilling holes and setting lines… winter wandering in Ontario’s Highlands continues.
There is no doubt that the ‘wandering’ theme is resonating with visitors to our region. It’s caught the attention of many travel writers and bloggers, most recently TheCuriousCreature.com and SeeYouSoon.ca who recently wrote about their #WinterWander experiences in the Ottawa Valley and Lanark County.
Stay tuned for future updates about how the Ontario’s Highlands brand will be developing in the coming year to better invite visitors to “Come Wander.” There are exciting things to come for Ontario’s Highlands that you’ll want to be a part of!
